I just finished working as a ‘fixer’ for Jungle Run Productions, for a new BBC series called “Human Journey.” The first episode will feature a primitive bamboo raft built in Lombok and rowed successfully across the straits to Sumbawa.
On October 8-I2, I participated in an on-line, roundtable discussion with three other women travel writers on the joys and trials of solo travel on www.worldhum.com. This series recently won the NATJA Runner-Up for Best Travel Series for 2007.
I am living, working and volunteering in Bali, Indonesia, until mid-late 2008.
